The manager password is used for the following authentications flows related to the MIXpbx:

• Password to access provisioned phones
• Password to access the ssh/sftp daemon on the mixpbx
  • Put CSV files with contacts

You can define 2 different manager passwords under the "Configuration" menu of our webinterface. One password is supposed to be numeric. This password is used for devices like phones where entering alphanumeric characters is hard.
