Webinterface extensions routings
From Mixpbx
The Mixpbx supports numerous routing options that can be set-up in out webinterface:
- define a fax-to-mail extension
- create ring groups
- route calls to voicemail
- define conference rooms
- play announcements
- redirect calls to a different number (special number syntax)
- ...
To change the routing of an extension, you need to login to our webinterface and access the extensions section. Just click on "Routing options" to modify the call fall flow.
Once you access the "Routing menu" you notice that you can define 2 types of routing:
- External routing
- Internal routing
External routing
External routing defines how the PBX handles calls coming form the outside (customers etc...).
Internal routing
The internal routing defines how internal calls are routed. Internal calls are calls emerging from a colleague connectet on the same PBX. Most of the time there is no need to define an internal routing.
