From Mixpbx
Android softphone [June 2010]
We will release an Android application that is compatible with the Mixpbx or any other SIP compatible service.
Custom ringtones for incoming calls [June 2010]
Users can upload their wav or mp3 files in the management interface. The ringtones will be pushed to the phones. We will also provide some generic ringtones that are acceptable in an open office space.

Translation of the management interface to French and German [April 2010]
French and German will be added as core languages to the management system. We will also provide some default voice prompts in English, French and German all being recorded by the same voice.
Mass deployment of CISCO phones [February 2010]
The Mixpbx supports Cisco 7960, 7940, 7905 and 7912 phones and automatic provisioning.
iPhone application [February 2010]
The Mixphone is an iPhone application that works with any Mixpbx (or other SIP compatible services). You can install the app by using Appls app-store. Some screenshots can be found here.
Security/Firewall by default [November 2009]
- Autodetect localnetworks and allow traffic
- Detect SIP/UDP and HTTP(S)/TCP (API) brute-force attacks and throttle the traffic
- Change usernames of default Linux accounts
- Move SSH to port 23 (bypass default scan attacks)
- Drop traffic to the SSH daemon coming from remote networks (exceptions can be configured through the webinterface)
- Transmits alert on login to the management nodes
Enhanced monitoring, graphing and alerting [November 2009]
The MIXpbx pushes the following useful data to the management nodes:
- Connections(TCP, UDP, local)
- Traffic (per interface)
- Load (CPU)
- Processes
- Usage (Disk and Memory)
- Status of SIP trunks
- Status of ISDN lines
