From Mixpbx

The MIXpbx offers different possibilities to exchange contact data with third party software sources. Contacts synced with the MIXpbx are used for:

• Showing the calling name on the phone on incoming calls
• Showing the calling name on the phone when doing outbound calls
• Showing the name on the phone for Pickup information
• Browsing through the contacts by using the directory features of the phone
